Plot Saver Products
Has anyone had experience with the Plot Saver products? I am going to plant a small (1/4-1/2 acre) food plot this spring and I am worried about overgrazing. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the effectiveness of this product. Thanks

Hey B-Tech,
I heard that if you go to a flea market and buy as many old 8 track tapes you can find. Someone told me to pull the tape out and string that around the food plot. Supposenly the wind will cause the tape to make a wierd sound and that will keep the deer away.
I haveen't tried it yet. If you do and it works, please let me know.

I have saw pic. from others on here that show a plot that has part inside the saver and some that is outside. the inside is a lot taller than the other.
a guy that sells it here locally says it works great.(of course he is selling it)[&:]
I am going to try some this year myslef.if anyone does, let us know.

RE: Plot Saver Products
thanks for the help guys. What have you guys experienced with as far as seed choice? I would love to hear what other hunters are having success with in their food plots. This year will be my first at planting a food plot. I'm hoping to make it a successfull one!!

RE: Plot Saver Products
I tried some PlotSaver this fall and had inconclusive results. The deer didn't touch any part of the plot for the first four weeks and then right when the PlotSaver wore off the deer mowed everything down.
I'm going to try it again this spring.
I have had good success with Imperial Whitetail Clover. I have tried several annuals without much success.
