Lablab

In the Tecomate Lablab site they list seed at about $45 for 20#. Have any of you found this seed at a better price at a local store? What kind of results did you have as a summer food source?

RE: Lablab

I used the lablab and I got a stand thicker than the woods in summer time! I might haved planted it too thick. The only thing I saw deer eat was the pea leaves. The white top millett was 4 to 6 feet tall and the stauks were as big as corn stauks. I had every song bird and rabbit in Mississippi there. when I mowed it down the ground was bare like a garden. I had alot of snakes also. it was hard to disk up to get my winter grasses planted. i plant wheat, white top clover and rye, I divide up the area and plant it each in its own area. I dont think I will spend the $$ on lab lab again. If I do I will use it sparingly and allow nature to do its thing with natural grass
