Just got back from sittin in my treestand. Just the second time this year.
Had a nice wide 8 pointer walk out into my oats and rye then crossed a timber finger and came into my biologic and oats. He justed nibbled a little bit and moved on. I think he was just lookin for the does that usally out there. His back hocks were soild black. He offered me a 35 yard shot but I passed. Sure makes all that brush clearing and rock pickin and fightin off the ticks and chiggers during the summer worth it.

keep up the good work dude...sounds like ur doing good! i have myself my own little honey hole that im leasing next yr it borders dalehollow lake...with foodplots and crops planted it wil be a magnet that will draw in deer for miles from the bluff and hilly country that borders that lake. i think ill do great work there.
