ordered my seed
 

Well i called the local feed store yesterday and ordered all my food plot seed, I ordered
3- 60lb bags of winter(Bob) oats
6 lbs of forage turnips ( some kind of turnip with twice as much greens on top)
3 lbs chickory
6 60 lb bags of winter wheat
4 60 lb bags of winter rye
this is in addition to the ladino clover that i already have in one plot,, My soil isnt the very best but ok, and i plan to add some bag lime and fertilizer when i plant this weekend.. My question is what does everyone think of these selections, how much will the deer like them, anyone think i should add something else?? I have seven food plots on my 250 acres, one large one is about 3 acres, with lots of clover already in it, four more about 3/4 acre each, and two that are less than 1/4 acre. whats everyon think.

Its tough to beat your fall plot selection - sounds like you've got it pretty well covered. Sounds like enough to plant 5-7 acres.
