I have just recieved my Stealth Cam Ditigal and LOVE it. I had a Highlander sport camera and payed about $600 for it. I payed 280 for the one i have now and i think the pictures are better quality. Although the flash isnt infared flash but doesnt seem to spook the deer. Hope i helped......Will

There are plenty of good threads of digital game cams in the bowhunting forum.

I've had great luck with the 1.3mp digital stealth cam. Good battery life (3 weeks) very user friendly, and good quality construction. Pic quality is good as well.

I found a really good guy that builds outstanding cameras.

http://www.eagleeyecams.com

I got a 3.2 mp Sony cybershot (really good cameras) and a trick dipped camo box with infared motion sensor for $400!! It even came with a bunch of rechargable batteries and a cable lock, memory stick etc.

Seriously you should check them out the guy really knows his stuff.

Brutal...I contacted them, and they wanted nearly $600 for the camera you described. Do you know them personally?

I checked out the Eagle Eye site, too and thought the cams were pretty steep.

I know him personally now....my camera was bought off Ebay I was the only bidder at $400. He also offers a warrenty and you can call him anytime for tech support. Based on the construction of the box, the extras provided, the sophistication of the sensor circuit board and the quality cameras he uses, I wouldn't blink my eyes much at $600. Especially since it's a 3+ mega pixel camera that you can use independently.
