the yellow stuff usually will be gone when it gets hot or atleast it does that here in tennessee.

That is a wild mustard. It seems the environmental conditions this spring have really promoted its growth. Mow the plot to about 6 to 8 inches and spray with 2,4D-B or Pursuit herbicide. You want to get it before it goes to seed or you will have the same problem next year. Thanks guys for all the info. I did get out on Saturday between rains and got it mowed. I will be checking it again in about 3 or 4 weeks so I hope then it is nothing but clover.
Deermanup - I have to tell you last year I was a little disapointed with what the clover did. It sure did take off this year and in that small plot we have seen as many as 7 deer and 4 turkeys. This is our first plot on our property and we will be doing more in the future. |
