I get off at 7am. and the growmore store is to have a spreader and my doleimite ready at 7:30 so I can start to put it on the food plots.
The soil sample said add 1 ton to the acer,so I will be spreading and disking in the am.
they are calling for rain Sat. and Sunday , so I will put in some oats and clay peas.

anyone have any other suggestions on something else to plant now durning the hot mo's?

RE: Limeing in the morning!

Try some Alyce clover. Its actually a false clover that stands up very well to heavy browsing. I have planted this on my florida leases for quite a few years and the deer love it. Plant it now and it should be good until October. Even works good in some sandier soils.
