Ok, going to redo my plots...steps?

Two years ago I put in two years ago and the first years they were awsome. The second year quite a few weeds and a drought made the plot dissapear.

I want to start over. Last week I disced the plots up. The frost is out of the ground. I limed and fertilized yesterday.(2 years ago the PH was 5.4, now its 5.8) I'm thinking I should let whatever grows now go for a couple weeks and then kill it all. I got a 15 gallon ATV sprayer and boom for X-mas. What should I spray(exactly) to kill everything. Then I would wait another week and disc again. Next, plant (about May 1).

Any suggestions to this plan?

I'll be planting a smorgasboard of items. Some Antler King turnip/rape mix, some Imperial Clover, Rye, and some Biologic Blend.

Round-up or any Generic round-up type product. Make sure what you want to kill is green and growing, and the temp above 55.

If I use Round-Up how long do i have to wait to plant and can I plant anything or will only somethings grow? Also are there differant levels or types of Round-Up?

Thanks

give the roundup 5-7 days, then disc everything under (all the dead stuff). Then you can plant. Not sure if there are actually different types of roundup, just different concentrations
