Well, sometime your payung for research.... Stink.. this is why we suggest that after the brown out of fall that the clovers/alfalfas be fertilized and hit with a growth stimulant. If you fertilize and hit the area with the growth stimulant after the brown up you will reduce the nutritional intake of the weeds and grasses. If you can get the product to go into a growth spurt for the winter you may well have a type of "food banking" for the late winter/early spring until the green up. Often time deer will reduce their nutritional intake during the rut/post rut...
