yes 5 to 7 days is the norm
but I have known guys that did it in 3 days, even a few in less/
any sooner than say 5 days your risking the chemical NOT making it to there roots,
a LOT of the time frame has to do with HOW tall the vegetation is your spraying and how well they absorb it, and as always HOW well you mixed it right
and how its sprayed, its there is heavy matting covering/shielding things under it, your going to be having living greens when you disc, even in 7+ days!
its why I tell folks, MOW to a decent level, wait a few days for things to dry up that were mowed, and THEN spray , gets the job done better in one try!
