RE: Mineral-Salt Blocks increase antler growth
Since antler is basically regenerated bone, it would only be right to supply the dietary needs that are vital for bone and antler development. From top to bottom it is energy, protein, calcium, phosphorus, and vitamins A and D.
Did you know in lab tests that a June antler (on average) contains 20% dry matter. 20% ash (dry basis) and 80% crude protein.
A good protein feed has all one needs. Mormons would be my feed of choice.
Recreation is not the outdoors, but our reaction to it.

We have sold more vitamin/mineral than just about anyone on the planet except for the manufactures and have never seen or heard of a vitamin/mineral meant for deer for such a price... Are you sure?

It doesn' t matter what the $$ is. It sounds like a scam - or at least a waste of money. Mineral blocks can do some GOOD things - One thing you cannot be sure of is if the can contribute to INCREASED antler growth - in fact its likey they DO NOT.
While its important for deer to have Calcium & phosphorous for antler growth - keep in mind that it is MORE READILY available in green forage than licks. By this I mean that Qtys in good forage FAR exceed that in a block - or lick. You can INCREASE the amounts in forage but LIMING your food plots - to 6.5Ph-7.0Ph.
If you have anyone calim differntly - ask them to cite independant research that validates the Mineral Lick/block claim of increased antler growth. You' ll see that there' s not much of it.

Mineral Blocks or Licks are wonderful for lactating Does in June & July.
