Help with pests!!

Hello everyone! This is my 1st post and need a lil help. I need a good way to keep raccoons off my trough feeder. They are everywhere!! Out of 869 pics in 6 days, 800 of em were coons and there were 16 in a few of the pics I had! The other 69 were hogs. Any help would be appreciated. And I hope I put this in the correct forum.

I have the pics, but can't seem to find out how to upload it on here. I'm using my phone by the way.

Start shooting them, as I don't know how you could varmint proof that type of feeder if I know what you're talking about. They aren't even legal here in MI. EDIT: My mistake for not also saying to make sure you obey all the laws where you live. I wish I was young again with our two coon hounds to help you with that problem, as you have a heck of a surplus crop there!

Check your regulations and find out how you can shoot them. Once coons find an easy meal, they hit it until it's gone.

You could shoot a coon in my state if they were destroying crops but it would not be legal to kill them for eating your bait. Recommend you contact your game agency.

I used to have a coon problem as well, so the next summer I started putting 3 cage traps out & checked them every 2 days. I tried a can of tuna, sardines, etc. The bait that worked the best was a small powdered donut. Caught them every time!

I always thought coons were nuisance animals and you could get rid of em however you wanted. Here's what it says

Looks like I have a little while to do something about it.

Coon skins are worth $$$ when prime. I'd get the required trapping license and turn them into some cash when it cools down and the skins are better.

That's a great idea, but I need to get em out now. I also wouldn't even know where to start as in making sure I don't hurt the hide and where to take em afterwards.
