to seed or not seed

I have all my dirt worked up in my plots. was fixing to seed this weekend but had good rain today and good chances of rain next several days. Soils to wet to harrow after seeding if I seed this weekend. Looking for opinion on weather to go ahead and seed and let the rain beat the seed in dirt or wait and let soil get dry enough to cover seed? planting oats, radishes, turnips and rape. im a day late getting seed down. thanks for opinions

went ahead and broadcasted seed and then compacted with tires, never used this method but we see what happens. if I see no sign off germination I will start process all over in couple weeks.

it will do just fine.....fine seed doesn't need much cover

It should be fine. As long as you have it slightly covered and the seed germinates, it should sprout and make a fine plot.

thanks for positive feed back and would like to update on what I seen today. went to look at plots and in just four days I seen some seeds germinate. its just been perfect conditions for seeds to pop. was doubtful about not harrowing and just packing the seed down worked just fine!

Hope you put some kind of seed coating on to boost your seed through the ground!!! That were most people fail get there food plot up and running then fertilize after there up !!!:D
