Default How to Utilize Buckwheat?

I'm gonna be planting buckwheat soon and just wondering what the best way to use it is to help the soil? I'm planting STRICTLY TO HELP THE SOIL, not for food plot purposes.

Once it matures, should I till it under right then, or should I cut it, let it re-seed itself, and then till it under?

Plant it and leave it alone until you disc it under come fall. It will reseed it self 2-3x between now and then. You dont have to do anything.
