Lazy Way To Plant A Food Plot

11 days ago a friend and i used a broadcaster to spread 150 pounds of feed oats on about one acre. Then we used a tractor and brushhog to knock down the tall grass. We got a decent rain 6 days ago. i fertilized the plot today.

Mother nature will get that seed in there.

great hard work done by you but i would suggest to avoid cutting these grass in rainy seasons as its the best house of poisonus creatures

That is impressive for not breaking the ground. I have see this done with clover and turnips before, but never oats or a seed that generally needs extra soil contact to germinate. Well done...timing the rain makes all the difference!
