Food plot questions

I have a 1 acre plot of red and white clover, rape, turnips, amd soybeans. The turnips are coming along very well as are the rape and soybeans, I can see the clover coming underneath. But the plot is full of grass and weeds. Do you think I should mow it to help the clover come along a little faster, but sacrifice some of the brassica, or should I wait on it?
Secondly. I mowed about 1.5 acres of old grown up pasture(grass). It is starting to green up again. What should I do with it this fall? I think I' d like to put clover in it next spring. Should I spray it this fall yet, or disc it first? I think it is too late to put in rye or winter wheat up here.
Thanks.
Brian

Too late! For better or worse, I mowed it. Now we' ll see what it does.
I should have turned around and mowed my crappy corn patch!

I don' t think its too late for rye. I just put mine in a week ago. The way the weather has been you should get a good start on it. Out here its only about 4bucks for 50#, if I were you I' d put it in, if it doesn' t work out that' s not much of a loss. :D[&:] terry

you can spray the plot with roundup and frost seed your clover in the spring.
