Sugar Beets in NC?
 

would growing sugar beets as a food plot in nc be a good idea to attract deer? if not whaat would be

Never talked to anyone that had good luck with them here. Two problems I hear , #1 heat and humidity, they are really more of a northern plot. #2, they dont know what they are here and dont eat them. #2 might could be solved after a few years if you figure a way around #1, LOL.

When do you want it to be attractive?

What kind of equipment do you have access to?

How big of an area are we talking? There is a big difference in your options between 1/4 acre and 5+ acres. Is it small enough for shade to be an issue?
