REALTREE NURSERY
INVEST IN BETTER HABITAT

The blight resistant Dunstan Chestnut (TM), is the best Food Plot Tree for attracting deer and game. Chestnuts were the most common tree in eastern North America before the chestnut blight killed off 30 million acres of trees in the early 1900s. They were the principle wildlife mast source in the eastern hardwood forests.

Dunstan Chestnuts are the most widely planted chestnuts in America, and are proven blight resistant and to bear the best quality nuts by commercial orchardists all over the U.S. for the past 30 years. They bear in only 2-4 years and produce more higher quality nutrition per acre than any oak species or hybrid. They will bear 10-20 lbs of nuts per tree by 10 years old, before most oaks even start to bear. Chestnuts are preferred by deer because the sweet tasting nuts are high in carbohydrates and protein, and have no bitter tasting tannin like oaks. They are the best Food Plot Tree, period.

Realtree Nursery grows the best quality nut trees, fruit trees and berries, oaks and other wildlife trees using root-enhancing pots and advanced production techniques. We will help you improve the quality of your habitat and increase the carrying capacity of your land.

Photos of trees and deer eating chestnuts available upon request.
