RE: Deer/game Feeders

I porbably have the cheapest deer feeders around, but they work very well. I buy a rubbermaid trash can for about $7-10 and cut 4 or 5 one inch triangles out of the bottom. I then fill it up with whatever feed I am feeding and set it on the ground. I usually tie the lid down so the racoons and deer won' t knock the lid off. I can usually put about 150-200#' s of corn in one and it will last about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks with heavy deer pressure.

I use the American Hunter 225 lb. capacity with the R-Kit timer. I like this timer because you can set your on times to feed. You can feed up to 24 times a day. I have mine set for 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.

I use Moultrie econo feeders.they last from 4 to 10 years.only $29.00,some times wally world has them on sale for $20.00.
we have 12 all together, they work good for the price.feed two times a day from 4 to 16 seconds at a time.we had a couple fall, thats the reason for the 4 year time.

if I buy three of the $30.00 ones that last 6 to 8 years,I think I' m ahead of the game.
