too late to overseed?

Hey guys,

At the end of august I planted my clover and chicory food plot here in upstate New York. That next week hurricane Irene hit and i'm afraid some of my seed was washed away. Tomorrow will be my next time upstate. Im wondering if I can still overseed my plot or is it too late.

Thanks guys.

Unless you planted on the side of a hill, it’s very unlikely the seed got washed away. I wouldn't expect much growth if re-planted at this point.

depends on the temps....what temp does the seed require to germinate? are the temps there still that warm (enough to germinate)...also, ya need water too, so when it rains, is it gonna be warm enough to germinate?
