Default logging trails, late season food

My logging trails/fire roads (about 10' wide) run on my ridges,, and of course shaded by the oaks (red/white).
Early season forget it, all the crops, bait piles and acorns.
Looking for something that will "somewhat" grow in the shade and feed the deer in the Dec-jan time frame?
I'm clueless
I have a Kioti CK20S with a 4' tiller, I till the path to make em "quiet" and thought "why not plant em"

Thanks for any help.

Can you estimate the hours of sunlight? +/- 4 hrs?

It's all under the canopy, maybe 2-4 hours of "good" semi filtered sunlight. I know, crappy conditions

I would use a year to experiment. Plant some Buck Forage Oats, some clover, some wheat, etc in short strips and see what works best. Don't forget to lime.
