I just got some honeysuckle from a friend i was wanting to know when is a good time to plant it and do i need to plant 2 or3 together ,arent they pretty hardy? thanks dglanc

If you already have it, I would go ahead and put it in the ground. If you have a few roots, just space it out a couple of feet apart with the sprigs. If you are getting the rain like we are in the S.E. the stuff should go crazy. Welcome to the board.

Wherever you plant it, make sure thats what you want cause the stuff will go nuts!

If they are small I would try and put some fence around them to let them get started.As the tips grow through the fence the deer will nip them off.Kind of a minie food plot.
