food plot help
 
i want to make a food plot. but the land owner does not want to make a field. the land is al hard wood but is spread out ( trees are far apart ). the owner said i can plat in the hard wood dut does not want me to cut any trees. will i be able to clean an area nad plant a no plow type seed. and have it grow.

If the trees are far enough apart so that the tree crowns aren' t touching you should have enough light to get at least some sort of food plot growing.

Is anything growing there now? I would think if there are grasses or something geowing now it is getteing sun. I' v been told that clover requires a minimum of 4 hours sunlight.
