I'm planting mine next week and I live in NE Arkansas. We had a big flood this spring and I couldnt get into my fields either. This is later than I like to plant because of rainfall, but I dont have any choice. If I can get a few showers on them they will still make.

If your planting them just for food plots, its better to plant them late. That way the deer are still craving the greens in early season and you will still have the pea for late season. I always plant mine the end of June and it works great.

Sure, you can plant them through mid july down here if you have the soil moisture for them to germinate.

Not too late - if you are looking for summer green forage and can live with limited pea pod production for the fall. Could still offer good summer forage if your deer aren't overpopulated. Its getting close to a cut off time though for a fall vs summer plot. 7/1 is the cutoff in NY IMO
