Plots in!

Finished planting most of my plots last week. Took a few pics

Some apple trees I planted back in the winter.

A cell phone pic of a mixed oats and clover plot. They seem to like the combo.

Congrats on the nice equipment. i've put in about 17 acres of plots. Still have one place to go.

What did you plant?

Jointvetch and kobe lespedeza here. Also threw in some cowpeas in that plot, but they are not going to make it, too many deer. A few other cowpea plots, soybeans going it after it quits raining...

Wish I could get my plots in, but there still covered in 4ft of water from our recent flood. The water is starting to drop fast now, hopefully I can get in there about mid june and plant some soybeans. What I'm really wondering is how long it will take the deer to venture back into my area from the flood. In normal floods it usually doesnt take to long but this was no normal flood. This was the worst flood we have ever had. Has anyone else had this experience. Water stretched out 2 miles from my hunting area.
