leaves on food plots

what do you do with last fall's leaves on food plots in the woods? I have a very small (1/10th acre) clover plot in a small block of woods that gets smothered with leaves each year. Since it is small, I have been raking the leaves off each spring. Just wondering if anyone does that or something else or just leaves the leaves.

Just disc or roto till the leaves into the soil. It will help build up the soil also.

Well, if you have easy access to the food plot and since it is clover, run over the area with a lawn mower or lawn tractor with a belly mower and leave the cut leaves laying on top.
