I'm not on board with fertilizing oaks. I have not seen one study that concluded fertilizing oaks increased acorn production. One thing that may actually increase acorn production is more daylight. Take a chainsaw and eliminate the competition for the desired trees and browse. Anytime you can get more sunlight to the ground you are doing a favor to deer.

I have read, fertilizing oaks is a waste of money and is not recomended.
