Took some pics last weekend of a couple plots I have. Planted them the week before, planted winter rye, buck forage oats, clover, and cow peas. We finally got some rain so I could plant.

They look great! I just planted my first real plot last week...I'll take some pics too.... We just got rain the last two days, wait and see what happens.....Do you plow your plot over in the spring? I planted winter rye also. Im thinking thats what Im gonna have to do...Lookin for a cheap single plow now, all I have is a set of disks....

I think I enjoy working my food plots almost as much as I do hunting.

Buckeye
Yea I work them up in the spring and plant alfalfa with clover, the hill ground I am in gets very hard in the summer, so if I work them in the spring it makes it easier in the fall

Gregrn43....Im thinkin the winter rye is gonna be too much for my set of disks...I m tryin to find a single bottom plow so I can turn it over come spring time....I'll try the Alfalfa then Thanks !
