how big can a buck get in a year?
 

I've got a couple of nice buck on my land if you want to see them check out my profile or the deer hunting form but anyway ppl are saying I have a 2.5 year old buck that would score 110 to 115 and my qustion is how big will he maybe get this year I feed minerals and protein pettetsall spring and summer but i would really like to know and how much he weighs I would some pic of him but i've got the chip and file at my other house please help thanks

Every deer is different, so there's no way to know. Best thing is to not worry about it and let them do what they do. It's also worth noting that you certainly have more than one buck around.

Like M. Magis said there is no way to tell, depends on the individual deer. But the average whitetail buck will have its biggest jump in antler size between 3.5 and 4.5 years of age.
As far as feeding minerals supplements, they only beneift deer in supplying them with a source of salt and you would have to spend a ton of $$ to see any benefit from protein pellets. Pike

It really depends on the deer,genetics etc,etc.And yes they will Usually have a mature set of antlers at 3.5-4.5 yrs.of age.
