This no till food plot mixture has forage tetraploid ryegrass,forage clovers,and forage rape brassica.I think it will work . I think I am going to plant in June put my fertiler on while planting ans about a week later put some lime on it .

im pretty sure you are supposed to lime well in advance?!?! i would lime it NOW for that plot or at least as early as u can before u plant, just me tho

Yeah, apply your needed lime now and disc it in, don't know about the seed plan.

Do I need to put some roundup on the ryegrass alredy in the field ????

No, just soil test, apply the recommended amount of lime and disc it in. Then later on you can plant the seed this summer. That seems early to plant the seed mixture you are talking about, but if that is the recommended time it might work.....

I agree with timbercrusier, thats to early to plant those types of seeds. I live in northeast Arkansas and we dont plant those types of seeds until late aug or early sept.
