Well went out to burn the brush piles have had some excellent weather here in MN but still a little to wet they didn't want to take off real well. So just did little scouting and hiking.

I'd like to see the after pics. I am looking to take on a similar project and would appreciate any advice you can give. Things you would have done different...etc. Planning to clear about 10 acres of forested land and plant corn/beans/alfalfa/clover. The area was selective logged (incorrectly) about 5 years ago and there are only a few good hardwood trees. I am going to do some dozier work and possibly leave some of the hardwood trees. It is extremely thick and the old logging roads are overgrown and there aren't any good access roads. I am planning to clear the logging roads for access. There are three steep ridges between the areas I want to clear. I appreciate any advice and good luck with yours! Keep us updated!
