One of my Plots
Here is one of my plots. This one is all peas. |
RE: One of my Plots
Tree stand I build over looking the plot. This plot has moose, deer and elk every year. This is the first yr it will be hunted. I have to put a ground blind there in the next month. First hunt will be in Sept for Elk. |
RE: One of my Plots
Very nice! That plot looks like it has a lot of grass in it...

RE: One of my Plots
This is looking the opposite way from where the tree stand is from the first pic . |
RE: One of my Plots
Very little grass. It has a little re growth of grain from last season. The peas in the pics are about 3 inches and now are about 10 inches. I sprayed the weeds just after I took the pics,

RE: One of my Plots
Iron Clay Peas are a common, hardy, nutrutioustype of peas that are often planted in summer food plots.
|
RE: One of my Plots
They are not Iron Clay to my knowledge. Never heard of them LOL.
They are yellow peas and the game as well as the geese love them. The plot will get about 500 or more bushels . I fertilized heavy as well when I planted. In another plot I planted turnips and chicory and yet another one about 50 arces of peas and wheat. |
