Default Some more farm pics

Thought I'd share a few recent pics from the farm. I graduated from UC on Saturday so now its just work, and a lot more time after work to spend at the farm. Still a TON of things I need/want to do this summer but so far I'm happy with the progress. All in all it was a good day, I got a lot of junk trees cleared out and got the last of the sweet corn in. This is "Kandy Korn" (se), "sugarbuns"just got planted last week and is just coming up. I had a bunch of leftover seed so i planted more corn for the critters next to my clover plot.

Some of the sweet corn is coming in. I'mgoing to add more urea fertilizer, and the coons aren't getting in it this year unless they wanna get zapped. Those are some of the sunflowers in the background. I've planted some every weekend for the last month all over the place, but the ones in the garden are about 4 feet tall so far. Still have some cultivating to do in between the rows. It is my second go at sweet corn, I'm hoping this year is better. Coons got me last year[:'(]

Some tomatoes (before I started getting weeds out of the corn):

Clover plot going to seed..There is a bunch of fresh deer crap in it but atleast they are notmowing it down. This is a 2nd year clover plot that I've only mowed once so far. The new clover plot is fighting the weeds but a mowing helped.

Bottom of the ridge, the valley (before the beans came up):

Other part of the Valley..Doe in the soybeans. This picture is from last week, but tonight my girl and I counted 24 deer in the beans, 3 were nice bucks (one of the bucks I'm after this fall), buch of little bucks and does, and a fawn the size of a housecat!

This is the guy I saw in the beans..I really hope I can get on him during bow season:

Some of the other bucks so far:

Another view of the valley. It is hard to see in the summer but when the leaves drop, the view is great

The pond..These pics is a few weeks old, but now the sunflowers are up all around the pond.
