Food plot in crp field

I want to plant a food in a crp field in wisconsin. There is a bunch of farm land around so I need to plant something to get them away from the corn and hay fields and into my food plot.anyone have any suggestions what to plant. i will probably use it during gun hunting and maybe bow.Over the last 2 years me and my dad have shot a total of 6 deer in that crp field that is only 80 acres outta 1 stand so we have a good idea where we would plant it. but I have gotten pics of many more deer and a few nice bucks. but they are all during the night. I want to plant a food plot to try to get them out during light. So does anyone have any expierience planting in crp fields and have any tip. The food plot will not be very big. Less than an acre. Thanks

Did you get clearance with the NRCS to plant it in the CRP?

If you are allowed to plant in the crp field, then you probably have to put up with tough weeds. So mow the weeds, then spray with round-up, work the land and enjoy
