My Situation/Problem
 

Where I hunt I would like to have a food plot, but the owner of the land runs cattle through the area right before and sometimes during the first part of hunting season. Im afraid that if I tried to create a food plot the cows would eat it before the deer had a chance to take advantage of it. What I was wondering is, have any of you had problems like this before, and if so, what did you do to fix the situation?

Unless he will let you fence an area for a plot you may be confined to hunting oak trees and trails. You could always tell him that after the season you will open the plots to his cows to graze. How about planting sawtooth oaks for some early season good acorns?

I dont know? I honestly dont know the first thing about food plots lol :D
