weed and grass killer

Well I have yet another question. The local agway store told me a product called eraser has the same ingredients as round up yet is cheaper. The only concern I have is whether or not this will hurt my seed two weeks after spraying.Does anybody know anything about eraser? Thanks

RE: weed and grass killer

Germain,

I' ll give you my two cents worth on products that are " just as good" , if I' m going to spend any amount of money to do something I want to make sure that what I' ve spent does do what it is intended. I think a product like Roundup, which has become the generic for weed or grass killer , got to be a generic because it is the best you can buy for the intended purpose. I personally don' t want to take a chance on an unproven product to save money. I will spend a certain amount on lime, fertilizer, burndown, disking, seed, labor, as you know this can be more than several hundred dollars. I am not willing to take a chance on anyone of these to save money on an unproven product. Don' t mean to knock any product, its just that I,ve been a test market for too many things.
