Heading out Sat. to work on last years great success. Bringing out 500 lbs of pelletized lime, some fertilizer, and 250 lbs. of Whitcomb' s granular mineral. Hopefully the plots starting to come up and I think we' re going to expand the plots both by 50%. They really loved it last year!! The mineral licks (2) also had alot of use last year so we' re going to put four more mineral licks in. I wasn' t going to put the game camera out til later but I can' t wait. Its going out tomarrow!!

We had a really cold winter with very, very , very little snow. I have heard that the Rapeseed may not come back. Does anyone know if this is true? The deer just hounded it all summer and I want to make sure I have some.

Cold winters with little snow are hard on perennials like alfalfa. I thought Rapeseed was an annual that needed to be reseeded every year?
