Dove Plot
What combinations or single plants are you guys using for small dove tracts. I am thinking about putting in a nice little 30 foot square plot in my yard underneath some power lines. What are you guys planting to attrach the doves during season.

What would you consider the minimum size for a dove plot? I was thinking of sunflowers. I have about 150 acres that is mostly grass & trees w/ some relatively small food plots (1 acre or less)

I planted 1/2 an acre with millet. One day it looked like a scene fro Alfred Hitchcoks "The Birds" including some turkeys at the end. It took them about a 3 weeks to really clean it up and that seems like a good amount of time to shoot. Depends on the length of your season.
