It will take a few years to get it to spread, but when it does, you will have a 15-20 wall. I did this at my mother in laws with the ornamental type. It winters well here in Arkansas. It is hard to get rid of. I got mine from the back yard of a neighbor at my dad's house. The fellow behind him tried to get rid of it for years. It would come up in my dad's yard about 20 feet from where it was growing.

be careful with honeysuckle. it is a HUGE pest around here and it grows fast and will grow ANYWHERE. provides good cover but takes over everything and chokes out trees
Proper management, as well as strict adherence to a specified plan can eliminate the later.
