secret plot food plot?
 

had anybody tried the secret plot food plot? when did you plant it and what did you do?

I used secret spot this year. It is supposed to be one of the "low maintenance, Throw and grow" seed and was impressed how fast it grew, and how green and thick it got in such a short time.

I used it in the woods away from our two other plots and allI did to prep the ground was remove the top layer of soil (leaves, stems, pineneedles, etc) and hand threw it out.

Its good for just what it says...a secret spot. It will only cover a small area.

Since you grew yours in a small area, did the deer destroy it quickly?

It will get destroyed fast if you plant near a trail or area you know deer are. The reason I used it was to attract any deer in the area to my cameras, so I didnt really plan to use it all season. Mainly just for scouting and preseason trail cams.
