Late season plot?

This has probably been asked a million times here. But since this is my first visit to this forum I'll ask again.
What is a good late season food plot crop? The soil is low Ph, and there is a possibility of frost. What is the most hearty plant I can put in? This is for a small plot that will be planted on a logging road that gets about 6 hrs of direct sunlight daily.
Thanks for your help.

Mixture of winter oats, winter rye, and winter wheat. This will last all winter for you, after the frost has killed everything else off.

I've already planted rye. I'll add wheat and oats. Thank you.
