New to plots in Western PA
I plan on planting some plots this coming spring. I have a few areas in mind. Two are located in field corners, while one is inside of a large open woods. I have really never planted a food plot before and am looking at any advice on what works in this part of the country. What type of plot, when to plant, fertilizers?

In field corners and inside open woods you will have to pay attention to the amount of sunshine will hit your plots. The clovers I have planted have not done so well in highly shaded areas. In my plots the clover does not grow well next to the woodline where it gets less sun.
Just a thought to consider.
