I live in Jonesboro. Where do you live?? I grew up hunting in Southeast Arkansas and the deer down there tear up the rice bran. Will bypass corn for it everytime unless it gets wet.

Another Arkansan on the board here just south of Jonesboro in Weiner, grew up in Marion. I used to get rice bran at Riceland Foods in Jonesboro when they would give it away. They do not sell it to the public, unless you buy a semi-load. Producers Rice mill in Stuttgart got smart and sell it by the bag now. I believe it is called Buck Grub. Hunted over it in south Arkansas and had great success. It would stop up afeeder though. It is the bran left over from polished white rice. It is legal to feed in Arkansas.
