My food plots are done
I got my last food plot planted yesterday. Planted about an acre of wheat. The rest of my plots are looking pretty good, but could use a little rain. I think the deer are eating my rape and turnips already. They are supposed to wait until after a frost sweetens them up.Here are a few pics from yesterday.
Antler King Honey Hole.
Purple Top Turnips.
Clover Chickory Mix.
Biologic Hot Spot, a mix of beans, peas, oats and wheat.
Another Clover Chickory field.
Some Wheat planted a couple weeks ago.

Looks like you put a lot of hard work into all of those plots. The lack of rain has really not been good for my new plots. I just hope it rains soon and perks things up. Yeah the deer in my area ate all of the turnips and rape that we planted earlier in the year before mid-July. They must have been hungry. Good luck with everything as season approaches!

good looking plots. I'm not planting mine until the weekend of the 12th, have planted them early before and lack of rain has caused me to replant, so i always wait till the 2nd weekend in sept.
