Default Acre Question

I know there's 43,500 square ft. in a acre. Am I doing this calculation correct? If my range finder shows the food plot that I'm going to do is 40yds.W 121yds.L Is that a little over an acre? Total would be 43,560yds?

You need to convert your yardage into feet, and multiply length x widith, that will give you the number of sq. ft.

And yes according to you measurments that is well over an acre.

Yep you are correct -

For reference sake - a football field (minus the endzones is 48000 square ft - or just over an acre. This helps some people visualize it. Also a good rule of thumb is a square 208ft x 208ft.

if you know the yards you know the feet. Insert the numbers and hit calculate. Voila instant sizing.
