Please help identify these things (Pics)
Was checking a hunting Prop. yesterday and came across there things growing an an oak tree. Can someone please tell me what they are.

Them almost look like acorns that didn't develop...not for sure what they are though. Just a thought

Its called an Oak Gall -

Interesting biology and interation between insects and trees - never ceases to amaze me. Plots still got lots of ferns - love that "North Country Feel" - wish we had some oaks down south where I am! FH. |
