Favorite Winter Food Plot?
 
Sup guys, just got my 4 food plots plowed this past weekend and will again re-plow then late august. the ground is so dry here i went ahead and did it now. but anyhow just wondering what you guys favorite food plots are? Winter peas, oats, wheat. soy beans.??? I want to try some new plots this year. but anyhow whats yalls favorite food plots to hunt over?

What area of the country are you from? I'm a big fan of brassicas up this way but soy beans ad corn come a close 2nd and 3rd.

Standing Corn - hands down for a true winter plot

I think it all depends on where you are ( why don't so many of you at least put your state in your profile?)
but if you get snow - then standing corn is tough to beat for winter deer use. We use it both as a late season plot to hunt over - and as a post season food source to sustain our local deer herd at high population levels.

If you have a winter that doesn't include a bunch of snow during your hunting season - then I'd probably suggest other food plots -
