any sugestions what works good in ny i have planted clover buck wheat still have an ace left to plant looking for some thing else to try

Broome Buck, What are your trying to acheive and how much are you willing to spend? I am in centeral NY. I am no biologist, but pretty resourceful.

i am in wyoming county,ny. im planting 1 acre of antler king red zone this year. i do 4 acres of corn that we leave for the deer and other wild life. 1 acre of winter wheat. in the acre of antler king we had clover till this year. this is on 100 acres. we have had excellent results from these 3 plots. anyone heard anything on the red zone success yet?

Try buck forage oats. Plant them the first week in August. You will not be disappointed.

thanks guys , td just trying to find what works for others and try something different ,i know soybeans are no joke around here but imo you would have to plant 3 to5 acres to get anything chickory works really well.
