another food plot question

I have deer hunted a long time but have just recently found a place to hunt that I can call my own so to speak . The farm I hunt has cattle all over it but the farmer sells of most of them in the fall. I would like to try my hand at a food plot is there anything deer love that cattle dont or just simply any suggestions ie fast grower or anything. Please help me out folks.

Try planting forage turnups in the fall. If there is any cattle at all try planting a couple of acres, mixed with forage oats.
