creating cover is the best way to keep deer on your land. all it takes is a chainsaw

do you have the option of cutting tree's down on this land? if you do you could hire a forester to mark some junk tree's and just cut them down and leave them. if you know some of the not so good tree's you could do some without a forester. look for tree's with poor form or tree's of little orno value, such as iron wood, poplar, soft maple ect..

yeah i do i operate a chainsaw as does my dad.we have has lumber companies try and get trees off our land before and we let thiem take some and we got like 400 dollars

Be carefull a single tree can be worth many times that.....

Get a copy of Neil and Craig Dougherty's book "Grow 'Em Right". Read chapter 3, A Chaisaw is a Deer's Best Friend, several times.

I also use whitetail institute 30-06.. they tear it up
